Currently we stock several grades of hotmelts in pellet form to suit all edgebanders with a glue pot and all aplications. We stock pellets in both neutral (25Kg bags) and clear glues (20kgs bags).
Temperatures range from 130 to 210 [degress] and machine feed speeds as low as 5m/min to more than 20m/min.
They are applied to the edging in a molten form, which cool and solidify, providing a strong bond between the board edge and the edgebanding.
Although we are able to advise on which adhesives are suitable for your machine and process, very often it comes down to the environment and the operators preference.
